FREELANCE WRITER, EDITOR, AND STRATEGIST

I began taking on part-time writing and editing roles in the spring of 2018. Highlights have been working with Bluprint on two web and mobile campaigns (for The Hartford and Verizon Wireless) as a copywriter and editor, working with Matthew Schnepf, AIA, on transcription and copyediting for the Rex Brasher Association, and with Accenture on drafting RFPS and various B2B and B2C programs.
MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATION & SPECIAL PROJECTS

At Harlem Valley Homestead (an organic farm and future retreat space in Wingdale, NY), I oversaw all administrative processes. From researching, selecting, and implementing new project management software to handling all IT setup and troubleshooting, I was tasked with keeping the office running smoothly. My writing at HVH focused on drafting and editing SOPs and crafting and distributing RFPs to consultants. It was at HVH that I realized my deeper interest in writing and a desire to pursue the craft full-time.

At the Wassaic Project (a non-profit artist exhibition space and residency program in Wassaic, NY), I oversaw all public events from brainstorming through execution. My writing at WP focused on weekly email newsletters, assisting with grant writing and editing, website copy updates, and event and exhibition descriptions.

At Fred Worden Trucking (a small mom-n-pop art handling company in NYC), I managed all employees and interfaced with all customers while setting daily delivery and installation schedules. My writing at Fred Worden focused on crafting clear and concise customer service emails, delivery and installation protocols, and marketing emails.

At General Assembly, I developed events that served as an entry point to GA's vast offerings, collaborating with both NYC-based marketing and design team members as well as a globally-distributed team of Marketing Managers at GA's other campuses. My writing at GA focused on producing and editing marketing materials, including writing and editing copy for web and email campaigns.

As an Associate Producer at GA, I was in charge of hiring instructors, drafting and editing course curricula and marketing copy, and scheduling all short-term classes and workshops. Collaborating closely with the design team, I co-crafted email marketing campaigns.
